Blackest Darkness
God has warned that the blackest darkness is reserved for Prosperity Teachers and may others of like mind.
Black
Think of the color black, which really isn’t a color.
Think of the darkness in black, as black is the absence of all color.
Think of the fact that black is greedy and absorbs all visible light for itself.
Black reflects nothing back.
For to the color black, all light is for itself.
This is why all who do not hate their lives for Jesus are living in some degree of black.
The Apostle Paul wrote that those who are true children of God, reflect God’s holy Light.
They reflect back the love of God as they pick up their cross, fall to the ground and die to themselves.
Such children reflect back the holiness, truth and righteousness of Jesus because they are children of the Light.
You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. (1 Thessalonians 5:5)
Now there is black, dark black and darkest black.
Indeed there is a black darkness in hell that one can feel that is the blackest darkness ever created by a Holy God.
When Moses stretched out his hand to judge Egypt, God sent a black darkness that could be felt.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt-darkness that can be felt.” (Exodus 10:21)
As there are degrees of black, there are degrees of darkness in which individuals live their lives.
Many who claim to be Christians are really walking in darkness.
What makes one a Christian walking in darkness is this single fact:
They are following Jesus for what they can get from Him.
Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, you are looking for me, not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.” (John 6:26)
Their bellies were fed. Their hearts felt some peace when around Jesus and they embraced the hard love shown by Jesus, but it was only in their little selfish selves that they were really interested.
All their talk and walking with Jesus was a sham because it was all for them.
There are Christians walking in black that are average church-goers who really only come to church to get.
There are Christians walking in various depths of dark black who wallow in sin while claiming to be going to heaven.
Since such are living darkness the black regions of Hell will be a fitting and proper judgment.
Then there are those Christians who have sat down deep into the blackest of black that black can offer.
These individuals are Prosperity Teachers and their followers.
It is Prosperity Teachers and their followers that God says He has reserved for them the blackest of black, the darkest blackness part of Hell.
Balaam, a false prophet, is the first prosperity teacher recorded in the Bible.
Balaam sought to profit from his prophesying.
Balaam lusted for gain as he prophesied in the Lord’s name.
The Apostle Peter tells us the “Blackest darkness is reserved for them.”
They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness. But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey–a beast without speech–who spoke with a man’s voice and restrained the prophet’s madness. These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. (2 Peter 2:15-17)
So dreadful is the judgment coming upon those who are Prosperity Teachers and their followers, that God repeats again in the Bible this dark fire of judgment reserved in Hell.
The warning of warnings is found in the book of Jude.
Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion. These men are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm–shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted–twice dead. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. (Jude 1:11-13)
What then should children of the Light do with these false Christians who attend church and conferences?
What would God have holy saints do concerning their books, sermons and songs of praise?
1. Let the Holy Spirit purify them of any selfish motives as they follow Jesus. Let holy saints first get the plank out of their own eyes.
2. Have zero tolerance for any level of Prosperity or name it claim it Doctrine in the church, at a conference or in the home. Nothing but the offensive message of the cross for those who love Jesus should be the rallying cry and prayer of such saints.
3. Kick out of the church and rebuke those who are only following Jesus because of what they can get from Him. No matter the degree of darkness, be it soft darkness or hard darkness it is all still black.
Let all children who walk in the Light of God obey this Scripture.
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)
Let us back up and read a little more of Ephesians so that no one will take you captive with fine sounding empty words.
For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person–such a man is an idolater–has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (Ephesians 5:5-8)
Therefore do not be partners with them.
