Any & Unity

God’s Unity
God’s unity in a group of believers will awaken the sinner to action.
Unclean spirits will incite the jury mobs to call it “cultish.”
Unclean darkness will enrage discernment dogs to tear it apart.
Unclean witnesses will awaken prosecutor pigs from their wallowing in the mud to get up and trample. Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. (Matthew 7:6)
The reason for this is that those who are slaves to their sins lustily engage in seeking to divide what a holy God is bringing together. This is why Paul with great force of writing wrote: I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. (Romans 16:17-18)
Do not be naive, the mob, dogs and pigs are hotly inspired by their leader against the unity of love God works among His Son’s true disciples. The evil one is always on the hunt for those he can prompt to betray the good. The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. (John 13:2)
Blessings from Any
What church or Christian dare dream unity of thought is possible these days?
Yet, it is possible if the basics of the full gospel are surrendered to. All others are left to hope in vain.
Where the message of the cross is honestly presented one can state with the Apostle Paul, “If you have…”
Any encouragement from being united with Jesus?
Any comfort from being united with Jesus in His love?
Any fellowship in the Spirit from being united with Jesus?
Any compassion?
Any tenderness?
Then have the…
Same love.
Same purpose.
Same like-mindedness.
Same oneness of spirit and purpose.
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. (Philippians 2:1-3)
The unity God blesses a fellowship with will come to the attention of the enemy of our souls. The world, and the worldly will call it brainwashing, but what God cleanses clean is clean indeed. The Holy Spirit does not just wash the brain but cleanses the whole man with the Word of Truth. Not just a clean mind, but a clean spirit, a clean love, and a clean unity.
The full gospel obeyed is so powerful an agreement that if one has “any” amount of this new life in them complete unity in a church is possible.
Those who surrender to the cross, according to the Truth of hating one’s life, giving up all, despising money, rejecting all other loves by way of God’s gospel salvation call will be granted the chance to experience a church that is fully united in Jesus.
The smallest amount of “any” can create a chain-reaction of unity amongst such brothers and sisters if they step out in faith when they pick up their cross to follow Jesus.
What a blessing this is for those few who allow God to set into motion such unity through their denial of self and being offended by the Holy Spirit of Truth!
It is there and only there that God gives “live forevermore.”
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. (Psalm 133:1-3)
How good it is. Oh, my Great Lord, what an understatement.
Great Power Preaching
The degree of persecution leveled at Sound Doctrine Church was way-out-of-proportion to its size and lack of influence.
The reason Sound Doctrine Church created so much commotion for such a small and despised church was because it had a taste of this unity from God.
The persecution and prosecution directed toward Sound Doctrine Church, which no longer exists, was preciously because God was working a measure of His unity and it became the focus of all who are unclean.
Nothing stands out like a church walking in the Light with the same love, same mind, and same purpose.
Light a candle in a dark room and all the bugs will flutter around.
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. (Acts 4:32-33)
What causes God to honor the words of a preacher?
Where you find hatred of the things of this world, a love that shares all while the church is one in heart and mind, God is quick to ensure that none of the preachers’ words fall to the ground. The eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge, but he frustrates the words of the unfaithful. (Proverbs 22:12)
It matters not how dynamic a preacher preaches. Indeed, such often gets in the way of the power of the Holy Spirit.
Nor take notice of how many followers follow a sermon as such is no indication of truth.
Rather look for a unity that only the Holy Spirit can bring in a group of disciples that are falling to the ground and dying to themselves.
Only preachers who are losers for Jesus are blessed from heaven with powerful preaching. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. (Luke 9:24) Paul will state that he was not a “trained speaker” nor a “super apostle” but God was with him.
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. But I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.” I may not be a trained speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way. (2 Corinthians 11:4-6)
How quickly and easily can a church abandon a sincere love for Jesus if some super preacher proclaims a slightly different Jesus. Be on guard. If a preacher does not bring the full message that can allow God room to work, His unity, then reject such super speakers.
Because the first church was one in heart, mind and love through the Holy Spirit the Apostles were able to speak the word of God with great power and authority in Jesus a great persecution would break out. On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him. (Acts 8:2)
Those who have tasted this unity of love in the Holy Spirit know what is possible in Jesus, so they are never satisfied with cheap church fellowship again. Now you know one reason for those who betray Jesus, having turned away because they loved the world are so wide open to Satanic inspired hatred.
Once the new wine of unity in Jesus has been tasted all else leaves a bitterness in the mouth. for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (2 Timothy 4:10) Nothing else can satisfy and the sense of loss is acute. He who has drank often from quality wine will spit out the wine vinegar of religious man!
Contempt
Let all who truly hunger and thirst for righteousness do what we demand of others. Repent and place upon the cross of Christ our sinful divisions, sinful lifeless church dogmas, our personal likes, and dislikes, along with our principals of a Christian life to be slowly crucified with Christ. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to come fresh and new with hammer and nails in His hands.
Let us give it all up. Let us let Him trim it all back so that there is nothing left of our religious life, our pride, and our beliefs about God. Let it all be trimmed back that more would be of the New Creation in Jesus. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. (2 Corinthians 1:9)
Let us, let God cut off everyone from us who lives a lie. Those that falsely claim they follow Jesus.
As you preach and live the full gospel let them leave who are stiff-necked toward moving forward. Let them be cut off. Let them turn away.
Let the godly not associate with and kick out of the church those who will not live the full gospel. Let us quickly move on and keep in step with the Holy Spirit. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (Galatians 5:25)
Let us let God strip us of all our fruit, not just the bad fruits of sin and self, but the good fruit as well so that we might begin brand new more fully open to the life of Jesus flowing through us. Becoming in the end even more fruitful. Amen?
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. (John 15:1-2)
Let us humbly prostrate ourselves before God and surrender to His deep plowing. Say to the Lord, Plow-up our unplowed ground.
Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord , until he comes and showers righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:12)
Let all of humble heart in prayerful meditation pour contempt on the approval of man. Of our desire to be accepted by the discernment ministries that have done more harm to Jesus than all the cults they seek to expose – combined.
All who long for unity with Jesus and among a group of disciples, let us surrender to God that He might bring about a unity not just of mind, but of His purpose and His love!
Truly, truly it is like oil running down on Aaron’s beard where God can bestow life forevermore.
Amen?

If anyone does not love the Lord–a curse be on him.
Come, O Lord ! (1 Corinthians 16:22)
