KJV: Teach Us To Pray
Oh blessed King James Version of the Bible.
How thankful I am to God that He gave it to many saints in this time period that they might have a poetic language for expressing adoring love for Him. The King James Version of the Bible is that intimate language that is used only for special occasions. Occasions only lovers treasure.
Though wisdom does cry out in the streets that the King James Version Bible is not fit for teaching, instructing and correcting in today’s church, God has passed it down through the generations to provide the saints of today a poetic language so that when their hearts are moved to utter heartbeats of love they may have words to declare. Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech: (Proverbs 1:20-21)
Later I will instruct on this teaching of Jesus, but for now it is praise prayed out.
