Video Persecution
Impostors

In the future we will be examining the persecution Jesus promised.

How to get ready.

What is persecution.

What is God’s purpose for persecution.

I know what I speak of from decades of multiplied opposition and varied persecutions too numerous to count.

See www.justicealone.org for current persecutions.

Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.’ (John 15:20-21)

Persecution

Persecution is not one religious group against another.

Persecution is not one political ideology against another.

Persecution is not even criminals against police and prosecutors.

Persecution is when the righteous obedience to Jesus is attacked.

As Jesus said: Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.” (Matthew 5:10-12)

Truth be told.

Facts be laid out clearly.

Simply desiring to live a godly life through Jesus will start the persecution.

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.  (2 Timothy 3:12-13)

Jesus said: Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.’  (John 15:20-21)

If anyone does not love the Lord–a curse be on him.

Come, O Lord ! (1 Corinthians 16:22)
