Video: Selfless Love In The Home

…to be busy at home (Titus 2:5)

This is a matter of tears, not law.
This is a sermon, a life and love in Jesus that drives me to weep again and again.
This message of the cross is a sign of just how spiritually off-target the church is.
Again, I say with tears women are to be busy at home loving their children as the older women are busy at home teaching the younger women how to love their children and husbands. (Yes, loving a husband is a learned godly art form.)
Again, the older women are to still be busy at home teaching the younger women how to love their husbands and be busy at home. But who can even find one godly older woman in the church today that is busy at home teaching younger women how to be joy in the Lord at home?!
Man is to be busy protecting the home, loving his wife as himself in all the authority of Jesus Christ. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. (Ephesians 5:24)
It takes a courageous and deeply loving godly husband to wash his wife in the Word of Life. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church– (Ephesians 5:25-29)
Not popular in or out of the church, but it is the way of selfless godly love manifested in those who have given up their sinful nature to walk in the new creation of holiness.
But like the world, the Cultural Christianity around us has abandoned God’s children.
Where is the weeping and repenting of women in what is called “revival” these days. You will know revival has broken out when women return to the home forsaking ministries, careers and self-attention. You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. (Titus 2:1-5)
You will know revival has broken out when men preach this from the pulpit by the holy tears, hot fire of purification and love of Jesus Christ.
You will know a church is spiritual when the goal of every Christian woman is to be busy at home.
…as I said, I do weep as the Holy Spirit leads.

For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. (Philippians 3:18)

The way of love that lays down its life for another is to give up career, ministry, college education and dreams to serve others. Jesus Christ gave up all of heaven to serve and love us, how much should women give up themselves to love their children? How much more should men give up pride, money and time to love their wives and children?
…as I said, I do weep because the church refuses to live this one command on such a basic level.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. (1 John 3:16)

How can we speak of the selfless love of Jesus, of following Jesus while the Christian Church abandons children to public school, mothers are at work, young-“Christian”-women are getting their college degree as the pulpit is filled with women who have forsaken the home? Do the math? Exactly how many hours, or minutes are actually being spent with the children God has given you to love?

God wants to know how you can talk of loving Him while spiritually aborting your children?
It is time for those mothers who obey this and agree with sound doctrine to call the church to repentance. And if the church will not repent to leave that church because they are enemies of the cross of Christ. But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God– having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Amen as it is long past time for the call to demand repentance in this matter to be shouted out.
